The new cruise ship of SAGA Cruises, Spirit of Discovery, started its maiden voyage on 10th July. Radiopark provides the right music on board.
Hamburg, 18th July 2019: The leading music producer in the cruise industry remains on course: starting in July 2019, Radiopark will be sounding the Saga Cruises‘ newest ship with specially curated music programs. The music editors visited Meyer Werft to create the various programs that will be played on board by Radiopark in the future. For the team around Arndt-Helge Grap, on-the-spot research is part of the package. To ensure that the musical equipment is just as unique as the interior, the Hamburg music experts always develop the concept in harmony with the individual spaces – matching the brand and the people.
The Spirit of Discovery is the first of two new ships built especially for the successful English company. On 10th July, the luxury ship left Dover for its maiden voyage. The Spirit of Discovery can accommodate up to 999 passengers, and not only the service level is exclusive: each of the spacious cabins offers its guests a balcony. Radiopark is very familiar with the customer and his needs: SAGA has been part of the Hamburg-based company’s portfolio since 2016. Radiopark also supplies the sound for the SAGA Sapphire. Another addition to the British cruise company’s fleet is currently under construction at Meyer Werft. The sister ship, Spirit of Adventure, will set sail in 2020 with an exclusive sound concept that fits.
